Business Development Center Representative

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative role is an on site position in Lenox, MA, supporting the new BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen location. As the first point of contact for prospective customers, the BDC Representative drives sales opportunities by handling internet inquiries, calls, texts, and chats, and by scheduling appointments for the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries received via internet channels, phone, text, and chat.
• Maintain outreach to prospective customers using the dealership's CRM system.
• Arrange and confirm appointments for the sales department.
• Keep precise customer records and communication histories.
• Make outbound calls to unconverted prospects, previous customers, and marketing campaign leads.
• Aim to meet or exceed targets for appointment setting and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales managers and consultants to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Stay updated on current BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen promotions and inventory.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of automotive call center experience.
• Prior experience in BDC, call center, customer service, sales, or automotive roles is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with high volumes of outbound calls.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, email, and basic computer applications.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Compensation

• Base pay range of USD 55,000 to 75,000 per year, plus potential performance incentives, depending on experience and performance.
