International Business Development lead at Lockheed Martin, part of the Indo-Pacific RMS International Strategy and Business Development team, responsible for identifying opportunities and managing capture activities in Korea and Taiwan and developing regional growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new international growth opportunities, shape customer requirements, and directly back RMS line of business capture efforts while managing international customer relationships.
- Lead capture efforts and coordinate sold activities across Korea and Taiwan.
- Translate and align regional and global strategies with on the ground initiatives.
- Develop a Korea and Taiwan business development plan that sustains current franchise programs and unlocks growth opportunities.
- Collaborate across multiple Lockheed Martin business areas and functions, including Global Business Development, Aero, MFC, Space, Program Management, Operations, and Finance.
- Build and maintain senior level relationships with decision makers in Korea and Taiwan to drive RMS engagements through capture activities.
Requirements
- 20+ years of business development or regional operational experience leading and closing opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with top level customers, RMS leadership, and cross business area leadership.
- Proven ability to operate positively in Korea and Taiwan with cultural sensitivity that closes opportunities and deepens Lockheed Martin relationships with key customers.
- Experience working with cross functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
- High adaptability and the ability to travel worldwide without restriction; comfortable in a fast paced international environment; self-motivated with minimal guidance in a competitive setting.
- Strong understanding of rotary wing capability, operation, and employment.
- Deep knowledge of the Korea defense market.
- Strong decision making and a commitment to doing the right thing for the company and customers.
- Proven experience identifying Art of the Deal style opportunities that align with customer needs and increase win probability.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570.
