Responsibilities
- Track the progress of marketing messages and programs
- Provide feedback to district teams on marketing, allocation, monitoring, and leveraging internal and external resources
- Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve or exceed sales and budget targets
- Screen, interview, and hire candidates
- Ensure compliance with training
- Coach and counsel individuals for future development
- Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews and competency assessments
- Coordinate with district and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, and other Business Units
- Share best practices with direct reports and peers
- Coordinate and/or participate in cluster teams
- Conduct district sales meetings to guide districts
- Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- OR
- Master’s degree and 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree or and 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- Associate’s degree and 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience
- AND
- 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

- Three or more years of specialty sales experience
- Experience in biologics
- Buy and bill model experience
- Ability to recognize and promote success behaviors and coach to improve performance
- Ability to leverage market and customer knowledge to target messages and activities within the territory
- Knowledge of local payor coverage
- Ability to articulate clinical concepts, data, and conclusions
- Ability to address customer questions and objections using clinical information
- Ability to recruit candidates who meet minimum job criteria
- Interviews and hires sales representatives capable of fulfilling the role
- Strong sense of responsibility and self-discipline
- Setting and communicating short and long term objectives with sales staff and peers
