The Endoluminal Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the ION Endoluminal System to Midwest hospitals, building advocacy, and achieving sales targets through broad engagement with healthcare leadership and clinical teams. This role involves significant travel and close collaboration with regional leadership to shape and execute a local sales plan.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the ION Endoluminal System to greenfield and existing hospitals within the assigned Midwest territory
- Navigate the complex sales process for introducing ION Endoluminal Systems into new hospitals
- Build clinical and administrative support through technical presentations
- Lead executive meetings and participate in marketing events
- Coordinate system test drives and demonstrations
- Identify key institutions and generate market awareness
- Drive sales of the ION Endoluminal System within the assigned territory
- Manage the transition from initial sale and installation to the clinical sales team to grow procedural volume
- Travel extensively, approximately 70% of the time
- Achieve quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate with the Endoluminal Sales Director to develop a local territory sales plan
- Build advocacy teams at each hospital to support adoption
- Develop initial contact and relationships with CEOs and senior hospital administrators
- Organize and manage the end to end sales process
- Develop expert knowledge of primary diagnostic bronchoscopy procedures
- Present a compelling business case for system purchase
- Resolve contractual issues and coordinate system installation after purchase approval
- Handle communications and administrative follow up
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years medical device sales experience
- Knowledge of the endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and operating room environment
