The Senior Business Development Manager builds strategic relationships and secures new and expanding revenue opportunities. This position supports the Business Development team with a hybrid arrangement (2 to 3 in office or on-site days weekly) and is preferred to be based in Dallas, TX.
Compensation
Salary: USD 200,000 - 500,000 per year.
Location and Schedule
Dallas, TX with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 2-3 in-office or on-site days per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage a business development volume target of approximately $1.7M to $3M or more.
- Prioritize sales to organizations within an assigned customer market and/or segment.
- Sell all Freeman Company lines, emphasizing audio visual and production company solutions produced by Freeman AV Productions, Alford and Studio Blue.
- Respond to leads promptly and document correspondence accordingly.
- Prepare sales collateral and deliver virtual and in-person presentations when required.
- Modify collateral as needed to close the sale.
- Entertain clients as necessary.
- Quote prices and credit terms accurately in line with company guidelines.
- Attend local and state industry meetings and functions as directed.
- Produce and review orders with the Farmer and Guardian teams to ensure successful account transition and delivery.
- Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain sales records.
- Keep track of travel expenses and submit travel expense reports as required.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
- 5 or more years of related experience.
- Proven ability to manage a personal book of accounts generating revenue opportunities totaling approximately $200k-$500k or more.
- Knowledge of sales systems is required.
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software applications.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated consistent above-average performance evaluations in previous roles.
