You’ll have relocation support, access to a company car, and eligibility for annual bonus. The role supports flexible work arrangements, allowing you to work from home near a hub or from a Synchrony office, with regular in-person collaboration and travel as part of the role.
Role overview
This senior leadership position oversees field sales managers across the West Coast, focusing on driving credit program utilization and achieving regional sales goals. You will hire, mentor, coach, and train field sales personnel, shaping strategies to maximize adoption and usage while guiding teams toward success.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of field sales personnel to ensure execution of national and regional sales and marketing initiatives.
- Drive increased credit utilization across assigned regions.
- Develop and implement strategies, tactics, and best practices with the sales team to boost credit program adoption.
- Manage systems to optimize time utilization, maximize client engagement, and control expenses, with effective measurement and reward programs for the sales team.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to create materials and processes that raise sales productivity and client adoption.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience in Sales Management, or an HS diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience in Sales Management.
- 3+ years of people management experience with direct reports in a regional or multi-location sales capacity.
- 2+ years of experience using Salesforce or other sales analytics tools.
- 3+ years of territory sales and marketing experience.
- Strong presentation skills for large audiences and experience managing relationships with C-Suite executives.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Travel up to 50% with overnight and weekend trips; includes a company car.
- Must be located in AZ, CA, OR, TX, UT, or WA.
