Branch Sales Manager
Job Description
The Branch Sales Manager will lead the day-to-day performance of the sales office in Tempe, Arizona by developing and managing sales staff and executing strategies that drive residential mortgage loan origination production goals.
Role Overview
Reporting into management, the Branch Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales team’s origination goals and strategy, planning and directing strategic initiatives, and ensuring branch activities align with company policies, established procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations. The position also includes building a collaborative, high-performance culture that supports employee development and sustained results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of the sales team’s origination goals and strategy for the assigned location.
- Plan, organize, and direct strategic initiatives, sales development activities, and leadership and management of production within the branch.
- Create and maintain a team-oriented culture within the branch to maximize employee performance.
- Direct and manage the production volume of Mortgage Analysts, including support staff, to originate residential mortgage loans in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Coordinate with the training department to implement training strategies for sales staff.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and direction to Mortgage Analysts and support staff.
- Manage employee relations and support performance evaluations.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with management.
- Assist with developing and implementing company policies.
- Ensure all sales activities follow company policies, guidelines, and federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the corporate HR department to address employee relations needs.
- Support a strong relationship culture through ongoing customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Finance, Business, or Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of the ever-changing mortgage industry guidelines through continuing education and licensing requirements.
- Excellent oral communication skills, with strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
- Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
