Business Development Advisor - Advanced

ExxonMobil is seeking a Business Development Advisor - Advanced to support the growth of its Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) business. This onsite role in Spring, TX focuses on originating, developing, and driving commercial execution for low carbon opportunities, with emphasis on agreement development and implementation.

In this position, you will help turn CCS-related business opportunities into actionable plans by advancing commercial structures, preparing evaluations, and coordinating across teams to move opportunities forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead the origination, development, and commercial execution for low carbon opportunities in ExxonMobil’s Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, business, or financial discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and/or business development roles in the energy sector
• Experience developing business cases and economic evaluations for opportunities with complex value chains
• Experience developing, executing, and implementing agreements (enabling and definitive)
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage and work with cross-functional and virtual teams

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Direct commercial and/or business development experience in the energy transition or decarbonization sector
• Familiarity with low carbon value chains (CCS, Low Emissions Fuels, Carbon Credits, Blue Hydrogen/Ammonia, Low Carbon Power)
• Familiarity with domestic/global decarbonization policy frameworks
• Advanced degree in business or finance
