Job Description

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is growing its Austin presence to strengthen partnerships with multinational customers and accelerate the adoption of its technology. The Business Development Manager will develop product, business, and marketing strategies, evangelize AMD solutions, and enable sales through cross-functional collaboration. This role centers on turning technical advantages into customer outcomes, leading engagements, and shaping competitive positioning across complex accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate the benefits of AMD based technology to customers.
  • Collaborate with other AMD subject matter experts to address specific customer challenges.
  • Lead technical sessions; design and detail technical solutions aligned with end user objectives.
  • Design and drive evaluations to deliver a quality solution, providing technical support to sales for overall account strategy rooted in AMD solutions.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the competitive landscape and clearly communicate AMD's technical differentiation and value proposition versus competitors.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as an engineer or in a technical role with customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Proven knowledge in at least one market vertical.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: semiconductor program management, product management, business development, or application engineering.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
