Business Development Manager
Job Description
Drive account growth, sales performance, and customer relationships while supporting Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop potential key accounts to meet target business plans and business growth goals
- Promote and sell Optimas’ total value proposition, including products, engineering, and logistics
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external teams to support project realization and acceleration
- Grow existing customers and develop new customers to reach full account potential
- Monitor market changes and competitor activities and provide periodic reports
- Deliver sales presentations and solicit RFQs in time
- Work closely with the global Program Manager/Architector
- Participate in contract review and signing and support E&O discussion and resolutions periodically
- Provide monthly sales and key-customer reports
- Create and execute business development plans and maintain sales/market forecasts
- Analyze business performance for key accounts and develop strategies and action plans to improve gross profit and profitability
- Assure overall customer satisfaction
- Obtain customer environmental requirements (including product compliance) and communicate internally and with customers on environmental matters when necessary
- Enter customer workplaces and comply with customer environmental and safety regulations
- Comply with waste classification policy and dispose of waste correctly
- Practice reasonable use of energy and resources aligned with environmental protection and low-carbon goals
- Report environmental emergencies (fires, chemical spills, etc.) and participate in company evacuation and firefighting exercises
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned by superiors
Requirements

- Good computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Good command of both written and spoken English

- University/college degree in marketing/business or engineering
- Over 5 years of experience
- Experience in the fastener or C class components industry is preferred
- Multinational company experience is preferred

Education: University/college degree in marketing/business or engineering
