Business Development Manager - Global Financial Services (West)
Job Description
Drive customer-facing financing growth across the Western United States by originating opportunities and executing tailored funding solutions with Lenovo, partners, and external finance organizations.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop financing opportunities early in the sales cycle to improve financing attach and accelerate deal movement
- Run high-touch, opportunity-led pursuits, especially for complex or competitive deals
- Maintain LGFS visibility and alignment across relevant opportunities
- Communicate the LGFS value proposition and position financing as a strategic enabler for Lenovo solutions
- Lead financial qualification, including budget, procurement practices, lifecycle strategy, and asset utilization
- Design and present tailored leasing and consumption solutions with pricing structure, payment flexibility, and end-of-term options
- Create lease pricing, quotations, and commercial terms aligned to customer requirements
- Drive deal progression from qualification through negotiation and close
- Coordinate with credit, legal, and treasury to support risk mitigation and approval requirements
- Lead or support customer and partner negotiations
- Serve as a key interface between Lenovo and LFS for deal execution
- Partner with LFS on proposal strategy, structuring, and customer engagement
- Collaborate across Lenovo teams (ISO, SSG, Channel) to support aligned execution and deal velocity
- Build and maintain a strong, accurate pipeline
- Provide visibility, forecasting, and stakeholder updates
- Progress pipeline and funded volume through disciplined cadence
- Support execution of LGFS programs, promotions, and offerings
- Participate in internal cadences, customer engagements, and enablement activities
- Drive awareness and adoption of LGFS solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in financial services sales
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline
- Experience leading financing solutions for enterprise technology acquisitions, infrastructure modernization, digital transformation initiatives, and technology refresh programs
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financing strategies for enterprise technology solutions
- Strong understanding of technology refresh cycles, lifecycle management, asset utilization, and consumption-based financing models
- Experience partnering with sales organizations to accelerate deal progression and increase financing attach rates
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with innovative consumption models, Technology-as-a-Service, Device-as-a-Service (DaaS), and outcome-based financing solutions
- Experience working with OEM, captive finance, banking, leasing, or technology financing organizations
- Track record of structuring large, complex, and strategic financing transactions
- Experience working in a global, matrixed sales environment supporting enterprise and channel customers

Pay Transparency
- Anticipated annual compensation range: USD 143,570–220,087
- Final compensation based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations
