Business Development Representative

Champion Chevrolet Howell is adding appointment coordinators/Business Development Representatives to support the sales department in Howell, MI. In this onsite role, you will help turn inbound and outbound engagement into scheduled meetings with Sales Representatives by reaching out through calls, texts, and email, while keeping every interaction organized in the CRM.

What you will do

• Generate sales appointments so customers can meet with Sales Representatives.
• Place ongoing outbound activity across phone calls, texting, and email to secure appointments and stay engaged throughout the buying process.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients using multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and texting.
• Follow up consistently with leads and prospects to maintain momentum and move them through the sales funnel.
• Track and maintain accurate records of interactions and engagement in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s automotive products or services so you can clearly communicate value to prospective clients.

Qualifications

• No automotive experience required.
• Enjoys speaking with people and can communicate clearly and distinctly.
• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and able to establish immediate rapport.
• Works with the team toward shared goals.
• Understands professional communication, including controlling voice inflections.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Computer proficiency.
• Team player with a drive to achieve goals and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity.
• Maintains a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct.

Compensation and schedule

• Salary range: USD 36,000 - 55,000 per year
• Pay structure: Hourly + bonus pay plan
• Schedule: Flexible Schedule, 40-hour work week
