Job Description
WCG Inc is seeking a Business Development Support professional to assist the Business Development team and other firm members. This hybrid role in Colorado Springs supports client-facing activities, proposal and follow-up workflows, onboarding coordination, client record management, and corporate governance efforts such as entity formation and EIN-related tasks.

Salary
USD 74,000 - 80,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Support WCG in achieving firm goals by promoting firm culture, encouraging excellence, and maintaining high team morale.
- Assist in developing and implementing WCG goals, procedures, and policies in coordination with Partners, Directors, Managers, and associates.
- Help identify improvement gaps and support the deployment of corrective measures.
- Provide feedback, concerns, and recommendations to WCG leadership to support ongoing evolution of Business Development.
- Draft client proposals and follow up with prospects, strengthening WCG’s initial prospect interactions.
- Form business entities and support corporate governance activities including EIN applications, entity conversions, and dissolutions.
- Assist with onboarding for new clients and help ensure a positive client experience.
- Provide onboarding updates to clients as they progress through the process.
- Answer client phone calls and emails.
- Maintain accurate client records and complete data entry in Canopy and other systems.
- File and organize electronic documents.
- Mail documents to clients and government agencies.
- Connect with clients to gather essential information and help keep workflows moving.
- Perform other tasks as requested by Partners, Directors, and Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, critical thinking ability, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information due to regular interaction with Partners, Directors, and Managers.
- Prior experience in a public accounting firm is preferred (not required).

Additional Work Requirement
- All salaried positions must perform work-related activities, duties, and tasks for 1,900 hours annually / 12-month trailing period of Firm-related activities regardless of job title, position, responsibilities, or duties.
- These hours reflect hands-on, work-related time only.
- Holidays, office closures, PTO, and other paid time off do not count toward and are not deducted from the 1,900-hour requirement.
