Director of Business Development

Gilchrist Inova is hiring a Director of Business Development to help drive growth initiatives from the Falls Church, VA office. This onsite role is designed for an experienced leader with a management background in healthcare, along with a foundation in marketing and sales.

In this position, you will bring strong relationship-management skills and the ability to pair qualitative and quantitative thinking with clear communication. The company will consider how your qualifications, education, experience, and fit with organizational needs align when determining the final salary offer.

Role Focus

• Lead business development efforts with emphasis on marketing and sales programs and systems.
• Apply payor and reimbursement knowledge to support decision-making and strategy.
• Use strong qualitative and quantitative skills to evaluate opportunities and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of management experience in the health care industry.
• Prior marketing and sales experience.
• Current Virginia State driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated relationship management.
• Knowledge of marketing and sales programs and systems.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative skills.
• Excellence in written and oral communications.
• Payor and reimbursement knowledge.
• Strong executive presence.

Pay Range

The final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, and alignment with Gilchrist Inova’s organizational needs.
