Job Description

Hands-on luxury sales leadership role overseeing a sales team in Sioux Falls, SD, blending personal selling with team development and strategic leadership, including succession planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example on clienteling, relationship building, and luxury sales execution while driving department revenue through personal selling and floor strategy to meet team goals.
  • Collaborate with ownership on sales plans, forecasts, and growth strategies; set clear performance expectations, communicate goals, and hold the team accountable for results.
  • Cultivate a customer-first culture; assist with complex, high-value sales and oversee special orders, custom jewelry projects, and repairs.
  • Utilize POS, CRM, and inventory platforms to monitor floor performance, ensure transaction and cash-handling accuracy, and analyze key performance metrics.
  • Develop individualized growth plans, provide ongoing performance feedback, and maintain a respectful, balanced environment that supports employee well-being.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience leading, training, and developing commission-based sales teams while maintaining strong personal sales performance.
  • Luxury retail expertise in jewelry or premium sectors (watches, high-end fashion, automotive, or hospitality) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with retail POS systems, CRM platforms, and inventory management software.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding personal and team sales goals.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on sales leadership role that blends personal selling, team development, and strategic leadership. You will lead by example on the sales floor, actively contributing to revenue goals while coaching and mentoring an Assistant Manager and the sales team. A key objective is succession planning to prepare future leadership while maintaining a high performing sales culture.
