Roofing Sales Manager

Alcal Specialty Contracting Inc is a family-owned, specialty contractor with a long operating history, a multi-branch footprint, and a team of 900+ employees. As part of that legacy, this full-time on-site role in Kapolei, HI 96707 supports a safety-focused culture while helping drive roofing revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you will lead and develop the roofing sales team, manage sales strategy and forecasting, coordinate estimating and bid work, and maintain strong client and vendor relationships. If you have commercial construction sales experience and the ability to supervise, this role offers a competitive compensation range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year plus a benefits package designed for long-term stability.

What you’ll do

• Develop market strategy and determine the sales budget.
• Create programs and procedures to increase sales capacity.
• Identify which complex projects to bid on based on profitability.
• Estimate job costs and prepare and submit bid proposals.
• Follow up on contracts.
• Work with vendor representatives to support sales activities.
• Coordinate price increase implementation when major cost increases occur.
• Support team leadership by assisting with hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating sales and estimator personnel.
• Communicate with clients, including responding to phone messages and mail daily.
• Complete monthly bid logs and provide periodic sales and contract reports.
• Contribute to annual planning and periodic forecasting.
• Run weekly sales meetings and participate in management meetings as required.
• Promote and support the company’s safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety rules set by company and governmental regulatory agencies and reporting and correcting hazardous conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in commercial construction, contracting, or a similar industry.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience (preferred).
• Prior roofing estimating experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with contractors.
• Ability to generate new project leads.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Valid HI Driver’s License.
