Sales Manager, Life Insurance

Kemper Insurance’s Home Service team is hiring a Sales Manager to lead agent performance across an assigned territory in Monroe, LA (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Own overall performance outcomes for assigned agents; drive results through ongoing recruiting, training, and supervision activities
• Continuously prospect for agent candidates to build pipeline in the territory
• Work regularly with assigned agents to supervise and monitor job functions, including sales and collection activity
• Conduct business inspections in the field and by phone to confirm company policies and procedures are followed
• Provide service for agencies that do not have an assigned agent
• Report to the District Manager
• Oversee an average of seven agents through recruitment, training, and monitoring

Requirements

• 2+ years of sales management or equivalent experience
• Fully licensed in Life, Health, Property and Casualty (required)
• Ability to work in-office and in the field as business dictates, with 50–100% of time spent in the field to recruit, train/develop, and support agents in assigned territories
