Senior Inside Sales Manager Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)

This onsite role in Murrysville, PA leads inside sales activities for pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to advance project development from concept through proposal delivery. The Senior Inside Sales Manager supports estimating, design coordination, and client relationship management throughout the preconstruction process.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inside sales function for PEMB projects, guiding opportunities from qualification through close.
• Design and configure PEMB systems, including structural steel, wall and roof panels, secondary framing members, and stability bracing, using proprietary software.
• Coordinate with clients, PEMB manufacturers, specialty contractors, vendors, and internal project teams throughout the sales and preconstruction stages.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and bid packages for commercial construction projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure alignment with client needs.
• Assist with building code compliance and energy code considerations related to metal building envelopes.
• Maintain relationships with PEMB manufacturers and specialty contractors.
• Support project estimating, scheduling, and coordination efforts to ensure timely project delivery.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with PEMB manufacturers, metal building specialty contractors, or commercial construction sales.
• Strong understanding of PEMB systems and construction processes.
• Experience with PEMB erection, insulated metal panel installation, or related field experience preferred.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and construction software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
