Job Description

Inside sales and lead generation role focused on prospecting IT services clients, setting appointments, and building a pipeline with growth potential into inside or outside sales, featuring a base salary plus commissions.

Job details

Location: Albany, NY (onsite)
Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 per year
Minimum experience: 3 years
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily activities to maximize productivity, allocating about 40% to cold calling and 60% to networking and relationship building
Develop relationships with prospects using multiple prospecting methods and lead generation strategies
Actively identify qualified sales opportunities
Nurture early-stage opportunities to strengthen future pipeline potential
Generate new business and meet quotas through ongoing prospecting and sales activities
Maintain records of key business intelligence from influencers and decision makers

Requirements

Hunter mindset
Proven ability to cold call, prospect, and convert calls into sales activities with a track record in lead generation and acquiring new prospects – starting with medium call volume
Driven to build a book of business and leverage all lead generation methods
Adept at developing and maintaining business relationships with leaders at all levels
Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable with the Internet
Familiarity with IT services or professional services is a plus
Minimum experience: 3 years
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
