Job Description

Infiniti of Valencia is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead the sales team and strengthen sales performance, customer service, and dealership profitability. This onsite role focuses on strategic planning, forecasting, inventory management, and developing sales consultants across new and pre-owned vehicle sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and reach individual performance targets.
  • Oversee new and pre-owned vehicle sales for the Nissan and Infiniti brands.
  • Train, coach, and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve monthly and annual goals for units, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Run regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to support continuous improvement.
  • Work with the General Manager to forecast monthly and annual sales, set inventory levels, and anticipate market trends.
  • Ensure dealership merchandising standards are followed, including vehicle displays and age-of-stock controls.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support overall dealership operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring needs and expectations are consistently met.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of automotive sales leadership experience.
  • Proven success as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Solid understanding of automotive sales processes, market dynamics, and customer service principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, build strategies, and solve problems effectively.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 185,000 per year.
