Business Development Associate for The Doctor's Channel

Remote Remote $65k - $85k/yr Full time Posted 5d ago

Job Description

The Doctor’s Channel, part of Uniphar’s US division, is hiring a Business Development Associate to support its commercial team from a fully remote setup. This role sits at the center of deal execution, helping move contract and RFP workflows forward through drafting, templating, routing, and reporting. Expect high visibility, tech-forward tools, and a focus on producing proposal-ready materials with strong accuracy and speed.

What you’ll do

  • Draft, revise, and version client documents including contracts, insertion orders, statements of work, amendments, and NDAs using approved templates, while tracking redlines across rounds and maintaining a current contract repository.
  • Review incoming client paperwork against standard terms, flag non-standard or missing language, propose approved fallback wording, and escalate material items to the Senior Manager, Managing Director, or Legal.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based RFP templates, pricing grids, and digital RFP response templates; assemble, format, and quality-check responses against submission requirements and deadlines.
  • Create and update PowerPoint decks, one-sheets, capabilities materials, case studies, and other sales assets, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and a polished client-ready output.
  • Act as an organized first point of contact for inbound client requests, triage and route to the appropriate internal owner, track progress to resolution, and follow up to ensure nothing slips.
  • Support the commercial team throughout the deal lifecycle by preparing materials for client meetings, capturing notes and next steps, and coordinating handoffs between sales, client success, and production.
  • Maintain trackers, pipeline reports, and campaign summaries in Excel, and keep CRM and internal records accurate and up to date.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate drafting, formatting, research, and summarization, and identify manual steps that could be templated or automated.
  • Partner with client success, sales, production, and finance to keep approvals and billing information moving on schedule.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–4 years of experience in a business, sales support, client service, operations, marketing, or administrative role, including internship experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word (formatting, redlining, track changes), Excel (formulas, pivot tables, templates, data cleanup), and PowerPoint (building and polishing client-facing decks).
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to draft, summarize, format, and speed up everyday work, with strong judgment about verifying outputs.
  • Tech-savvy approach, picking up new software and platforms quickly with minimal hand-holding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a high standard for grammar, formatting, and professional polish in client-facing materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for contract language, pricing, and deadlines.
  • Strong organization and time management to handle multiple concurrent requests and competing deadlines.
  • Self-starter behavior, taking ownership, anticipating needs, asking good questions, and following through without being chased.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential contract, client, and commercial information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment while staying visible, responsive, and connected to a small team.
