Business Development Manager
Job Description
Meta is hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to build strategic partnerships that drive growth and increase product adoption across Meta platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute Meta’s partnership strategy, sourcing high-value opportunities that support long-term business objectives
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles: opportunity identification, term sheet development, negotiation, and execution of complex agreements
- Partner across product, engineering, legal, finance, and policy to structure deals that are technically feasible, commercially sound, and legally compliant
- Build internal alignment by presenting recommendations and business cases to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Convert partner and market dynamics into actionable strategic recommendations that influence product roadmaps and go-to-market plans
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development within a technology or platform company
- Proven ability to independently lead and close large, complex, multi-year agreements with executive-level counterparties
- Experience developing and driving strategies in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with meaningful organizational impact
- Track record leading cross-functional teams (including legal, finance, product, and engineering) through the full lifecycle of strategic deals
- Strength in communicating strategic recommendations and business cases to leadership via written and verbal formats
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in investment banking or management consulting
- Background in platform ecosystems, digital advertising, consumer technology, or enterprise software partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable outcomes (such as efficiency gains or quality improvements)
- Experience applying responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews)
- Ability to use AI to improve workflows and drive measurable results, including efficiency gains or faster deal execution
- Ongoing AI skill development (prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

- Salary: USD 162,000 - 227,000 per year
