Job Description

The role focuses on managing inbound leads and driving outbound campaigns to generate new business for Aprio's Risk Advisory & Assurance Practice, including developing quotes and qualifying opportunities for SOC/ISO and CMMC. The position requires close collaboration with marketing and service teams to improve lead follow-up and support sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads within one hour in a professional manner.
  • Qualify leads using predefined criteria and route them to the appropriate advisor team members.
  • Keep HubSpot records accurate and up to date for all inbound leads and their status.
  • Coordinate with advisors to schedule, reschedule, and update meetings in HubSpot.
  • Follow up to ensure advisor meetings occur in a timely fashion according to firm standards.
  • Conduct lead qualification interviews following guidance from service line leaders.
  • Provide pricing quotes and proposals based on established guidelines from service leaders.
  • Follow up on related deals to advance opportunities.
  • Design and execute targeted outbound campaigns to generate new opportunities for the RAAS practice.
  • Collaborate with Growth Leaders to implement segment specific outbound efforts.
  • Leverage email, phone, and social channels to reach prospective clients.
  • Craft messaging and value propositions tailored to different segments and industries.
  • Monitor outbound campaign performance and adjust strategies using Outreach and HubSpot reporting.
  • Align outbound campaigns with marketing strategies in partnership with the Go To Market team and service leaders.
  • Collaborate with the advisor team to ensure smooth handoff and timely follow-up of qualified leads.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on lead generation activities and campaign outcomes to the Business Development Manager.
  • Attend team meetings and strategy sessions to contribute to business development initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential target markets, industries, and decision-makers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
  • Offer insights from market research to inform business development strategies.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in business development, inside sales, lead generation, client services, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Experience qualifying inbound leads and managing sales pipelines in a CRM, preferably HubSpot.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for professional client engagement.
  • Ability to conduct discovery and qualification calls to assess client needs and opportunities.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, managing follow-up, and ensuring progression of opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to CRM records and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond within established service levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking campaigns and using data to drive improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate across business development, marketing, and service delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference for candidates in the West Coast time zone; willingness to work PST hours
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Finance, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Experience supporting professional services, accounting, consulting, fintech, or B2B organizations
