Director of Business Development
Job Description
ACCELERATED MOBILE POWER LLC is seeking a Director of Business Development to help expand revenue through new build power generation opportunities and strategic partnerships. This full-time, salary-exempt role is based in Midland, Texas with 20% travel, supporting growth efforts through pipeline development, proposal leadership, and close coordination with operations to set new clients up for successful transitions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead pursuit of new build power generation orders.
- Develop and manage a new business sales pipeline with executive level E&P stakeholders.
- Drive proposal and presentation development for new business opportunities across applicable markets.
- Manage the proposal response process, including RFP requirements, content creation, and coordination of inputs from multiple sources.
- Support deal structure and pricing through business value analysis, and negotiate pricing for proactive bids and proposals.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to align on strategy.
- Apply technical acumen and leverage relationships with the operations team to ensure smooth transition to operations for new clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity.
What You Bring
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required, including a 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per company policy.
- Successful completion of applicable pre-employment testing, including background check, drug screening, fit tests, and aptitude/competency assessments.
- In-person, daily predictable attendance in Midland, Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 7+ years of Power Generation experience.
- A successful track record in sales.
- Extensive relationships within the E&P sector (executive-level relationships highly preferred).
- Financial acumen to build proposals.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Excellent communication, time management, and presentation skills.
- Strategic, critical, and creative thinking with strong business sense.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive results.

Work Environment and Safety
- Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel.
- Primarily office-based work indoors.
- If required to go to a worksite: exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions may occur.
- Employees must wear company-mandated personal protective equipment and follow safety policies.
- Work hours may include early mornings, late afternoons/evenings, and weekends based on job demands.
