Job Description
Everyday Helper offers a part-time, independent contractor Director of Marketing and Business Development role with a hybrid work setup in Coralville, IA. This position features a flexible schedule and the chance to lead marketing initiatives, shape brand positioning, and uncover new business opportunities to fuel growth, all while working in a dynamic, outcomes-focused environment. The role is compensated at an hourly rate of $17 to $20.
What you will do
- Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing multichannel, digital, content, and performance marketing.
- Lead market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to guide strategic planning.
- Oversee the design and delivery of advertising campaigns across print, digital platforms, social media, and paid channels such as Facebook Advertising and Google AdWords.
- Manage marketing automation tools and analytics platforms like Google Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize ROI.
- Drive SEO initiatives to improve organic search rankings and online visibility through content optimization, keyword research, and website management.
- Cultivate relationships with advertising sales partners and explore new B2B and B2C opportunities to expand revenue streams.
- Lead the development of compelling copy for emails, product descriptions, and promotional materials across channels.
- Coordinate and film promotional videos for social media, including appearances on camera, to support brand storytelling.
- Assist in establishing and managing new social channels, including platforms such as TikTok.
What we are looking for
- Proven expertise across digital marketing channels including SEO, social media, email marketing, and performance marketing.
- Proficiency with Canva for content creation and campaign design.
- Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools such as Google Analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Strong content development skills for websites (WordPress), social media (Facebook and Instagram ads), email campaigns, and print advertising.
- Excellent research abilities paired with copywriting skills to craft messages that resonate with target audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail within budget constraints.
