Logistics Customer Sales Business Development Manager

Onsite in Oak Brook, Illinois, this role focuses on identifying and closing new logistics and 3PL opportunities, building a durable book of business, and driving revenue and margin growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target industries
• Leverage industry relationships and network to generate immediate revenue opportunities
• Develop tailored logistics solutions (TL, LTL, brokerage, etc.) based on client needs
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to maximize margin and long-term value
• Consistently meet or exceed revenue and gross margin targets
• Qualify leads to verify that they are viable opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to grow revenue by leveraging the strengths of the company

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of proven success in logistics/transportation sales (3PL, freight brokerage, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to generate and close new business
• Existing book of business or strong industry network preferred
• Deep understanding of pricing, margins, and logistics operations
• Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
