National Powersports Sales Manager
Job Description
Senior national powersports sales leader responsible for building and overseeing nationwide powersports initiatives across 14 locations, based at the Hatfield, Pennsylvania headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Build the powersports division across all 14 locations from the headquarters outward.
- Create and execute a company-wide powersports sales strategy.
- Monitor and drive sales performance at each site.
- Establish pricing standards, sales processes, and lead-management workflows.
- Train and mentor store managers and sales staff on powersports products and selling techniques.
- Determine product assortments at each location based on local demand.
- Oversee purchasing of new and used dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, and related products.
- Define the optimal inventory mix for every store.
- Track inventory aging, margins, discounts, pricing, and turnover.
- Approve or advise on trades and used-unit purchases.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising campaigns, promotions, events, and digital listings.
- Provide technical oversight to ensure technicians follow repair, inspection, and service standards.
- Manage warranty procedures, parts operations, repair profitability, and service-related customer issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional powersports experience.
- Strong preference for five or more years in the field.
- Prior experience managing a powersports dealership is required.
- Demonstrated success selling dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, or similar vehicles.
- Solid understanding of powersports market demand, customer buying behavior, seasonality, and regional product preferences.
- Familiarity with both new and used powersports inventory.
- Working technical knowledge of powersports repairs, parts, warranties, inspections, and service operations.
- Experience managing inventory levels, aging inventory, margins, trades, and purchasing decisions.
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams to generate leads and drive dealership sales.
- Minimal travel is expected; occasional travel may be required.
