Job Description
David Scott Lee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a hands-on Sales Director to lead the Andalusia showroom. This leadership role emphasizes growing vehicle sales, structuring retail and lease deals, and mentoring the sales team with active floor management and CRM accountability. The position is onsite in Andalusia, AL, with a focus on strong lender relationships and daily sales activity.
Responsibilities
- Deal desk and financing structuring: Proactively price and structure financing and lease packages, evaluate trade-ins, and submit credit applications to the lender network.
- Team leadership and coaching: Recruit, train, and mentor the sales floor on closing techniques, CRM workflows, phone handling, and building durable client relationships.
- Showroom traffic management: Oversee daily showroom activity, manage internet leads, and actively engage in sales conversations to close deals and address objections.
- Inventory oversight: Maintain a balanced, fast-moving mix of new CDJR models and pre-owned inventory aligned with regional market demand.
- CRM and lead management: Ensure the team uses VinSolutions to enforce disciplined follow-up on digital and inbound leads.
- OEM compliance: Maintain factory-required training credentials with Stellantis / Mopar to fully leverage incentives, programs, and product features.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive dealership sales management or finance (F&I) management.
- Strong preference for candidates with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram brand experience.
- A proven history of desking deals, maintaining solid front-end grosses, and delivering high customer satisfaction scores.
- Proficiency with dealership software such as VinSolutions, vAuto, or DealerTrack.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and personnel management skills.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable, insurable driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
