Sales Manager
Job Description
Alternative HR, LLC seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sales team for Dakota Riggers & Tool Supply. This onsite role is based in Sioux Falls, SD, and focuses on driving revenue growth, elevating sales performance, and strengthening customer partnerships through hands-on leadership and accountability. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years in a sales leadership capacity are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the sales team
- Set clear sales goals, performance standards, and accountability measures
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales personnel
- Design and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross margin targets
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and pursue new business
- Support major client opportunities, key accounts, and strategic sales presentations
- Monitor the sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and team performance metrics
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, warehousing, finance, and customer service teams
- Review pricing strategies and support profitability initiatives
- Leverage CRM tools, reporting, and analytics to enhance sales effectiveness
- Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience
- 3+ years of sales leadership or management experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and revenue targets
- Experience coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams
- CRM experience and strong reporting capabilities
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
