Job Description

Alternative HR, LLC seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sales team for Dakota Riggers & Tool Supply. This onsite role is based in Sioux Falls, SD, and focuses on driving revenue growth, elevating sales performance, and strengthening customer partnerships through hands-on leadership and accountability. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years in a sales leadership capacity are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the sales team
  • Set clear sales goals, performance standards, and accountability measures
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales personnel
  • Design and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and gross margin targets
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and pursue new business
  • Support major client opportunities, key accounts, and strategic sales presentations
  • Monitor the sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and team performance metrics
  • Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, warehousing, finance, and customer service teams
  • Review pricing strategies and support profitability initiatives
  • Leverage CRM tools, reporting, and analytics to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • 3+ years of sales leadership or management experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and revenue targets
  • Experience coaching, developing, and leading high-performing teams
  • CRM experience and strong reporting capabilities
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
