Sales Manager

BHF OPERATING COMPANY LLC is seeking a Sales Manager for an onsite role in Vero Beach, FL. This position serves as the second in charge at the branch location, coordinating daily store activities to support safe, professional, and profitable operations while holding the store accountable for company objectives, quality standards, and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain customers through consistent store execution and service
• Attend to customer concerns immediately and support an effective customer experience
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes
• Decipher, prepare, and review store reports
• Ensure adequate availability of merchandise at all times, including pricing and inventory readiness
• Implement sales and marketing programs, and follow monthly marketing plans
• Maintain internal quality control standards and enforce operating expectations
• Fill out paperwork for submission to corporate support and maintain detailed operating records
• Maintain detailed records of financial services transactions
• Manage inventory and cash assets, including ensuring daily transactions are reconciled
• Prepare daily work schedules and delivery schedules; assign tasks and enforce company policy
• Keep merchandise priced and operating records complete
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary for effective store management

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Rent-to-Own, retail, or another business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising
• Effective organizational skills with established selling skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time
• Learn and become proficient in a POS system
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers
• Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
• Strong planning, organization, delegation, coordination, and follow-up capabilities
• Recognize and solve problems
• Proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meeting insurability requirements
• Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates

General Physical Requirements

• Routinely lift, load, move, and use a dolly for merchandise weighing 50–300 lbs
• Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and grabbing as required
• Traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
• Prolonged driving and standing
• Ability to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions
