Sales Manager

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Sales Manager for an onsite role in West Fargo, ND, focused on revenue growth and leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to deliver company sales goals
• Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new customers and expanding existing business relationships
• Track sales performance, set goals, and provide ongoing training and performance management
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer data, and economic indicators to uncover growth opportunities
• Oversee marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers while supporting high-level sales opportunities
• Manage sales budgets, evaluate ROI for programs and initiatives, and handle escalated customer concerns

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Experience: 3+ years in sales, business development, and leadership
• Construction background with knowledge required to work with contractors
• Proven ability to lead and develop successful sales teams
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively
• Willingness to travel more frequently during the first 6 months
