Sales Manager - Automotive
Job Description
Eddy's Everything is seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to lead its automotive sales operation on site in Wichita. This role centers on guiding a motivated sales team, shaping effective selling strategies for cars and other vehicles, and driving performance across the dealership. The right candidate will combine leadership credibility with a data-driven approach to forecasting and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and train the sales team
- Coordinate schedules and approve vacation requests
- Establish sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust plans as needed
- Evaluate current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements
- Deliver precise sales forecasts
- Coach and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback
- Cultivate a high-energy yet collaborative team culture
- Assess individual performance through observation and metrics, and recommend corrective actions as needed
- Prepare and maintain sales reports and records for company reporting
Requirements
- 3-5 years sales experience
- Minimum experience: 2 years
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to lead a team to obtain and meet goals/quotas
- Excellent leadership skills
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in computer software
- Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Automotive sales: 2 years (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
