Sales Manager in Training

Charles Yi-Farmers Insurance Agency is looking for ambitious candidates to step into an Agent Apprentice/Sales Manager in Training role in Glenview, IL. This onsite position is built around revenue growth through direct client engagement, customized insurance solutions, and structured learning. With one-on-one mentorship from the agency owner, you will develop the sales and industry expertise needed to move toward agency ownership.

Role Overview

This high-impact sales opportunity is designed for individuals who want a clear path to leadership. You will learn proven sales techniques, strengthen negotiation skills, and build the knowledge required to develop and manage a thriving insurance agency. The position includes structured training, competitive commissions, and a salary range of $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding support to clients to ensure their needs are met.
• Customize insurance plans for the distinct needs of individuals and businesses.
• Engage with clients to build strong relationships and support ongoing satisfaction.
• Stay current on industry developments and product knowledge to advise clients effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to drive sales and achieve business goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous sales experience preferred; insurance sales experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly motivated and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and also contribute as part of a team.
• Must obtain specific insurance licenses within a given timeframe.
