Job Description

MetroWall is seeking a Business Development Associate with an Inside Sales/ SDR focus to join the Congers, NY team. This role emphasizes lead generation, managing relationships with new and existing partners through targeted outreach and thorough market research, and providing sales and administrative support to the business development function.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective clients and project opportunities.
  • Research clients and opportunities to extract essential qualifying information.
  • Schedule meetings for business development colleagues with clients and project influencers.
  • Investigate firms and take actions to qualify opportunities and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Provide administrative support to the business development team.
  • Update the CRM system to reflect current statuses and activity.
  • Conduct follow ups with prospects and stakeholders.
  • Schedule follow ups to maintain momentum in opportunities.
  • Prepare for meetings with relevant data and materials.
  • Ship samples as needed for client review.
  • Coordinate catering or food arrangements for client meetings.
  • Review and qualify incoming bid requests.
  • Timely review and action on incoming leads and website inquiries.
  • Assist cross-functional teams with projects as required.
  • Collaborate with all MetroWall teammates to deliver customer service that exceeds expectations.
  • Support additional tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Three years of experience in customer service or sales.
  • Proficiency with Office 365.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with cold calling potential clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering strong customer service.
