Business Development Executive, Environmental Consulting
Job Description
In this Regional Business Development Executive role based in Miami Lakes, FL (onsite), you will drive growth by identifying new opportunities and delivering pre-sales support across the region. You will partner with Producers/Account Executives and Account Managers, while also contributing to national practice priorities through process, information, technical, and strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote company procedures and professional standards while identifying and researching regional prospective clients in collaboration with Producers/Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Follow up on sales calls to advance conversations and support deal progression.
- Maintain and update a prospect database, supporting demand generation for the multinational program.
- Identify and develop new, typically complex, business opportunities within the region.
- Determine which products and services are appropriate to present based on prospect needs.
- Provide pre-sales support for Producers/Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Refer new business to Producers, with the potential to close sales yourself.
- Support the National Practice Leader by contributing to process reengineering, information management, technical implementation, and business strategy.
- Manage cross-functional projects and provide consulting services, including business expertise, analysis, and recommendations tied to corporate initiatives supporting the National Practice Leader’s growth, operational efficiency, key projects, cross-functional collaboration, and IT platforms/tools.
- Develop and execute a regionally tailored marketing strategy that reflects leadership in business strategy and account planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience required.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance brokerage business.
