Business Development & Partnerships Consultant
Job Description
Own partnership strategy and execution for Wells Fargo Cards and Personal Loans, helping grow the credit-card ecosystem and strengthen cardmember experiences.
Responsibilities
- Run market, competitive, customer, and partner research to spot trends and evaluate new partnership opportunities
- Assist with assessment and prioritization of partnership opportunities tied to business goals, customer needs, and growth strategies
- Create business cases, financial analyses, executive-ready materials, and strategic recommendations to support decision making
- Partner cross-functionally across Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to evaluate customer, operational, financial, technology, legal, risk, and compliance considerations
- Support partner outreach, diligence, negotiations, commercial structures, and development of partnership frameworks
- Coordinate partnership approvals, contracting, implementation planning, and deal governance activities
- Contribute to governance, risk, and control activities for partnership evaluation, execution, and ongoing management
Requirements
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, product strategy, consulting, corporate development, or financial services
- Knowledge of the credit card ecosystem, including rewards, loyalty, payment networks, fintech, digital platforms, merchants, travel providers, and technology partners
- Track record developing business cases and conducting market research with financial, competitive, or strategic analysis
- Ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations, executive materials, and actionable next steps
- Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Job Expectations
- Travel up to 10% of the time

Location: 150 E 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017 (Hybrid)
Pay range: USD 92,000 - 145,000 per year
