Responsibilities
- Ensure a steady stream of new sales opportunities
- Record each opportunity in the bid tracking sheet with due dates and client details
- Send Bid Calendar invites to document proposal deadlines and reserve time for bid review meetings
- Develop proposals and route them to direct supervisors for approval before sending to customers
- Coordinate with the BD CSR for grammar and language review of all proposals
- Update the CRM with new contacts, sales leads and bid opportunities, meetings, and phone calls to keep records current
- Keep calendars up to date with all client meetings
- Submit a weekly itinerary for the upcoming week by Monday
- Compile and submit consolidated sales call reports to management, detailing calls made and meetings held
- Serve as a customer liaison and familiarize target market clients with the full line of services
- Prepare and submit job status reports as directed by management and requested by customers
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of marketing tools and promotional strategies
- Suggest updates to marketing plans, business plans, and sales strategies based on market conditions
- Establish and facilitate customer surveys
- Stay informed on price changes and regulatory and site updates
- Act as liaison among disposal site, the company, and customers
- Adhere to the company safety program and maintain regular reliable attendance
- Provide mentorship when required

Requirements
- Minimum of two years of proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or a related role
- Strong ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker who can spot growth opportunities and act on them
- Comfortable with outreach methods such as cold calls, emails, and networking
- Experience negotiating deals and managing partnerships
- Self-starter who works independently and meets targets
- Proficiency with CRM tools
