Job Description

The Management Fast Track program from New York Life offers an accelerated route to leadership, starting as a financial professional with six months of manager training and a subsequent Associate Partner track.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire product knowledge and master selling strategies for our portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive growth.
  • Meet defined criteria before advancing into a management role.
  • Complete a six month intensive training period to prepare you for leadership.
  • Use your experience to recruit and coach colleagues for success.
  • Lead and build a team of financial professionals.

Requirements

  • Sales or managerial experience in another industry.
  • Previously run your own business.
  • MBA or an equivalent degree.
  • Must hold securities licenses and FINRA registrations and affiliate with NYLIFE Securities as a registered representative before offering investment products.

Phase 1: Firsthand Experience as a Financial Professional

  • Gain direct exposure to the daily duties of a financial professional during the initial year, backed by thorough training, digital tools, and a complete product suite.

Training and Resources

  • Receive comprehensive training that highlights the value of New York Life and its offerings.
  • Access to essential resources, including experts on call and a suite of digital sales, prospecting, and marketing tools to attract and retain clients with web, social, and email content.

Product Solutions

  • Learn about a robust range of insurance and financial products designed to help clients reach their goals, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care, disability income insurance, and investment products via NYLIFE Securities LLC, a FINRA/SIPC member.
  • To offer investment products, you must hold securities licenses and FINRA registrations and be affiliated with NYLIFE Securities as a registered representative.

Phase 2: Your Transition to Associate Partner

  • After meeting the initial criteria in the first year as a financial professional, enter a six month Associate Partner training program to lead and grow your team.
  • Ongoing opportunities exist to advance to higher levels of management throughout your career with New York Life.
