Heavy Equipment Sales and Business Development Manager
Job Description
This role focuses on growing the Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island market by selling premium environmental processing equipment, managing key relationships, and driving new business. Based in Plaistow, NH with a hybrid work arrangement, the position offers a base salary plus uncapped commission and opportunities to collaborate with leadership to shape territory growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the Eastern MA / RI territory by pursuing new business and nurturing existing accounts
- Leverage industry relationships and field knowledge to identify opportunities and close deals
- Conduct regular job site visits to assess customer needs, demonstrate equipment, and recommend solutions
- Negotiate and close deals with business owners, operations managers, and project leaders
- Represent premium equipment brands including Terex-Finlay, CBI, Ecotec, and Green-Tec
- Collaborate with the President to help shape territory strategy and growth
- Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
- Coordinate with internal parts, service, and operations teams to ensure excellent customer support
- Travel throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island to stay closely connected with customers and active projects
Requirements
- Reside within the Eastern Massachusetts or Rhode Island territory
- Experience in heavy equipment sales, construction equipment, environmental equipment, or industrial B2B sales
- Strong ability to build relationships and earn trust in the field
- Comfort discussing technical equipment applications and conducting machine demonstrations
- Self-motivated, competitive, and capable of managing your own schedule and territory
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with autonomy and accountability
- Organized and disciplined in managing leads, follow-ups, and customer relationships

Experience
- Environmental Equipment (Crushing, Screening, Wood Grinding): 1 year (Preferred)
- Heavy Equipment Sales: 2 years (Required)
