Job Description

The Principal Business Development Demand role at A9.com LLC is an onsite position in Santa Monica, CA, leading Amazon Publisher Services deals and driving programmatic demand with agency supply teams and Amazon Ads. The role defines strategies, collateral, and activation paths to scale publisher spend, with a salary range of USD 193,700 to 262,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Amazon Ads stakeholders to promote advertiser and agency adoption of APS deals across streaming TV, audio, and web display
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on APS Curation, supporting Amazon Ads teams in agency and advertiser pitches
  • Influence senior agency supply-side leaders to adopt APS as a viable deal activation path
  • Coordinate with product marketing on go-to-market efforts to scale sales
  • Define and implement best practices and engagement models with Amazon Ads stakeholder groups
  • Synthesize customer feedback and industry intelligence for incorporation into the product roadmap

Requirements

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
  • Experience in online or digital advertising

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with solutions or programs that have demonstrated success at enterprise customers
  • 7+ years solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment industry
  • Experience in media sales
  • Experience working with advertising agencies or building partnerships with advertising agencies
  • Experience working in agency sales teams at SSPs, DSPs, or data providers
