Job Description

Lead growth and market adoption for the ECOVA platform from Wisconsin, with approximately 25% travel, by building demand and commercializing recyclable, paper-based packaging solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Source and secure new ECOVA opportunities across defined markets
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline focused on shifting from plastic to paper-based packaging
  • Grow strategic accounts through new applications, products, and tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with customers to assess feasibility, performance, and conversion pathways
  • Support trials, qualification, and commercialization efforts
  • Position ECOVA to align with evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements
  • Establish trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Lead negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract development
  • Represent Rapids at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements
  • Build and guide a high-performing commercial team and implement scalable processes and customer focus
  • Align team priorities with strategic market opportunities
  • Drive accountability and measurable performance
  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity
  • Translate insights into actionable growth plans and forecasts
  • Maintain visibility into key opportunities and risks across the portfolio
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, R&D, and marketing to deliver solutions
  • Align sales strategies with manufacturing capabilities and the innovation pipeline
  • Support ongoing improvement and evolution of the sales process

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in sales leadership, including managing a team
  • Experience in flexible packaging, paper, film, or related manufacturing sectors
  • A proven track record of driving growth and winning new business
  • Strong consultative or solution-based selling background
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with technical stakeholders
  • Preference for exposure to sustainability-driven products, packaging innovation, or material conversion
