Job Description

Valley Cabinet Inc. is seeking a strategic Sales Manager to steer division-level sales efforts from its on-site location in De Pere, Wisconsin. This role centers on developing a cohesive division strategy, driving revenue growth, and safeguarding key customer relationships while aligning with the company’s overall sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the division’s sales strategy in harmony with company-wide goals.
  • Translate corporate sales initiatives into actionable, division-level plans.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs specific to the division.
  • Drive revenue growth through new business development and account expansion.
  • Lead, coach, and support the division’s sales representatives, account managers, and related staff.
  • Set clear sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability structures.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training sales talent within the division.
  • Cultivate a high-performance sales culture centered on customer satisfaction and results.
  • Own and manage key customer relationships within the division, including strategic accounts and high-value projects.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand project needs, timelines, and service expectations.
  • Support negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract development.
  • Ensure consistent customer communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Work closely with operations, production, design, and project management to align sales commitments with operational capabilities.
  • Coordinate division forecasting, scheduling needs, and pipeline planning.
  • Partner with marketing on lead generation and division-specific positioning.
  • Monitor division sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecast accuracy.
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Director of Sales.
  • Utilize CRM tools and reporting dashboards to track opportunities and sales effectiveness.
  • Recommend process, pricing, or customer-strategy improvements based on data and trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with leadership responsibilities preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in construction materials, cabinetry, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Strong ability to build customer relationships and lead teams.
  • Experience managing sales within a multi-site or regional division structure.
  • Familiarity with custom cabinetry, commercial construction, or millwork environments.
  • Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and performance analytics.
