Senior Relationship Manager, Client Service & Business Development (Fintech)
Job Description
A senior fintech client service and business development professional who oversees all client interactions and service delivery for assigned relationships, driving revenue growth and leading cross-functional initiatives from prospecting through contract execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary escalation point for clients; liaison between clients and internal groups.
- Maintain and expand each client's reporting infrastructure and outputs as needed.
- Monitor, measure, and report to senior management on open inquiry case management issues by serving as an escalation point to resolve client issues.
- Ensure client deliverables are completed, approved, and published accurately and on time.
- Manage client expectations by balancing inquiries, special projects, and periodic deliverables; escalate new requirements and contribute to solution definitions to address scope.
- Guide staff in supporting client needs in platform usage, data mining, and deliverable-driven inquiries.
- Supervise and mentor Client Coordinators and Associates, including coordinating and reviewing responsibilities and work product.
- Guide other professionals and teams in understanding client transactions related to investment and tax planning to ensure proper recording.
- Serve as back-up to the Client Service team when necessary.
- Anticipate future client needs and work with management to craft proactive solutions.
- Keep management apprised of client relationship status and high-level developments; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Meet with clients to discuss progress and open issues.
- Act as liaison to the Implementation team for new client initiatives and special projects, as well as tailor current services or implement additional services.
- Maintain awareness of current financial trends in the Family Office investment arena.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in client service within the fintech industry.
- Proven experience working with Family Offices, RIAs, and Trust structures.
- Demonstrated success supporting business development and sales processes end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and investment performance metrics.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing or mentoring team members.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Relationship-driven with a client-first mindset.
- Commercial savvy with strong sales support instincts.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; leadership and team development capability.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, high-touch client environments.

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 140,000 - 165,000 per year
- Pay range: USD 140,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year
