Service & Sales Manager – Coaching
Job Description
Eco Electric and Plumbing is seeking a Service & Sales Manager – Coaching in Seattle, WA (onsite) to lead and coach a high-performing electrical service team. This role combines hands-on management of electricians’ performance with sales leadership, ensuring established systems are followed while revenue and service expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the coach and operational lead who can consistently follow established systems and guide technicians to do the same.
- Provide direct oversight of electricians’ performance and sales activities.
- Lead and train team members using the company’s proven service and sales system.
- Monitor field technicians’ performance and deliver guidance to support improvement.
- Apply sales criteria and ensure the team consistently exceeds revenue goals.
- Host weekly team meetings to review the service pipeline, address challenges, maintain performance standards, and reinforce safety compliance.
- Coach electricians on building customer rapport to help sell the right products and services.
- Collaborate with customer service and dispatch teams to support overall business outcomes.
- Manage team schedules to meet ongoing customer demand and adapt for seasonal spikes.
- Manage service work to remain within budget constraints.
- Develop and produce reports covering department performance, quality, and efficiency.
- Support recruitment and comprehensive onboarding of new electricians.
- Coordinate with electricians on truck stock management and compliance with vehicle policy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience in a Service, Sales, or equivalent management role (industry-specific experience not required).
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Customer-first mindset supported by a history of high customer service standards.
- Technical proficiency in work order management and reporting systems.
- Experience in strategic planning and financial management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with emphasis on financial accuracy and safety.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Openness to continuous learning and improvement.
- Initiative and effectiveness in a collaborative team setting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to clear background checks and drug screening tests.
Compensation
Base salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
Performance bonuses: $20,000 - $50,000 per year.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year.
