Job Description

Senior Manager, Business Development at T-Mobile USA, Inc. leads a business development team within T-Mobile for Business to identify and develop new revenue opportunities through multi-sided ecosystem partnerships and non-traditional commercial arrangements that drive growth beyond core connectivity for the enterprise segment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the planning, due diligence, design, and implementation of strategic business development initiatives to meet organizational goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to establish the vision, strategies, and tactics guiding business development efforts
  • Build, mentor, and assess a team of business development professionals to execute the strategy effectively
  • Lead a team that cultivates and sustains internal and external relationships to support growth
  • Identify new business opportunities, ecosystems, partnerships, and markets for current and near term solutions
  • Take on additional duties or projects as assigned by management

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Technology or related field (Preferred)
  • 7+ years of business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis, preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries (Preferred)
  • At least 2 years direct supervision and management experience (Preferred)
  • Experience leading business case modeling for complex deals greater than $100M/year (Preferred)
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of external partners (30-50 partners), with direct accountability for partner revenue (Preferred)

Compensation

Base pay range: $141,700 - $255,600 per year. Corporate bonus target: 20%.
