Wedding & Event Sales Manager
Job Description
The Bond is looking for a Wedding & Event Sales Manager to be the first point of contact for couples and event clients in York, PA. This full-time onsite role blends relationship-driven selling with structured follow-through, helping leads move from inquiry to signed contracts and then seamlessly into coordination.
You will thrive on a flexible schedule, host tours in person and virtually, and support the venue in meeting monthly and annual booking goals. Compensation includes a $50,000 annual base plus 10% commission on sales.
Responsibilities
- Respond to every inquiry via email, phone, website, and social DMs using the established protocol learned during training.
- Manage leads in Dubsado, keeping notes, stages, and next steps current.
- Run a consistent follow-up process so leads do not go cold.
- Host in-person and virtual tours, tailored to each couple’s vision, guest count, and date.
- Send a personal note and clear next steps within 24 hours after every tour.
- Prepare proposals and walk clients through pricing and packages with clarity.
- Sell the value of The Bond experience while protecting pricing and value.
- Prepare contracts, collect deposits, and hand off each booking smoothly to the coordinator.
- Meet monthly and annual booking goals, including filling open and off-peak dates.
- Grow non-wedding business such as rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, nonprofit galas, and community events.
- Represent The Bond at open houses, bridal shows, and networking events, building relationships with preferred vendors who refer business.
- Collaborate with the social media manager on content and handle inquiries that come in through social.
- Track inquiry-to-tour and tour-to-booking conversion rates, including lead sources.
- Share a weekly pipeline update and a monthly recap covering results, lost-lead reasons, and improvement ideas.
Requirements
- 2+ years of wedding venue sales experience.
- Warm, confident communication with strong listening skills.
- People trust you quickly.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Comfort discussing money and explaining the value behind pricing.
- Highly organized, comfortable working in a CRM.
- Follow-up comes naturally.
- Writes clear, friendly emails with real-person tone and effective communication.
- Motivated by goals and interested in tracking numbers and outcomes.
- Available for evenings and weekends for tours and events.
- Excited about learning and growing within the role as the main contact of The Bond.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Full-time, flexible with evenings and weekends
- Pay: $50,000 per year plus 10% commission on sales
- Reports to: Leah Reasinger, Interim Venue Director
