Auto PBE Business Development Manager
Job Description
The Auto PBE Business Development Manager role at National Coatings and Supplies Inc./Single Source Inc. focuses on researching and evaluating business opportunities aligned with the company’s long-range and strategic plans. This onsite position in Roseville, MN offers an annual salary of up to USD 120,000.
Responsibilities
- Improve company sales and profits by coordinating efforts to gain new business
- Monitor market behavior and competitive trends, and respond accordingly
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations, then follow up with key decision makers
- Oversee the development and maintenance of annual budgets at the store level for assigned stores, if any
- Regularly meet with the Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress toward goals, and status of prospective customers
- Serve in a sales and consulting capacity, collaborating with other BDMs on National Accounts as required
- Mentor store staff and TMSs by setting and pursuing goals aligned with company objectives to increase regional profit revenue
- Stay informed about development plans of existing clients and maintain a solid understanding of contract terms and provisions
- Conduct scheduled and cold call prospecting to establish first and follow-up appointments with customer decision makers
- Assist with other duties and departments as needed
Requirements
- Associates Degree in a related field of Sales or Business Management
- Four-year degree or higher preferred
- 4-6 years of sales experience with a proven record of meeting objectives and overcoming objections
- Paint coating industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Proven sales track record
- Strong negotiating and closing skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible solutions
- Effective written communication skills to convey information and ideas clearly

Additional Notes
This position requires travel up to 75 percent of the time.
