Business Development Manager
Job Description
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive community-based growth within the High Net Worth Network (HHN) segment from our Plano, TX onsite location. The role focuses on developing regional and national opportunities and supporting CBD strategies to deliver impact and growth, working with internal partners to strengthen the bank’s community footprint.
Responsibilities
- Support JPMorgan Chase’s mission to be the bank for all, the easiest to do business with, and trusted in our communities.
- Manage 5 to 15 regional and national relationships within the HHN segment, with the flexibility to support other verticals such as Government Banking and Middle Markets as needed.
- Serve as a conduit connecting stakeholders to firm resources, including One JPMC partners and local Community Managers.
- Provide subject matter expertise for Divisional Directors, Community Directors, and JPMC partners, leading initiatives like market entry activation and engagement with HHN institutions.
- Assess current relationships to identify opportunities for deeper involvement, collaborating with HHN Bankers.
- Develop an engagement plan with standardized offerings, align resources and goals with partners and institutions, and monitor progress with regular reporting.
- Collaborate with local One Chase teams to offer Financial Health Workshops to faculty, staff, students, and parents at higher education institutions.
- Recommend solutions to capitalize on strategic opportunities for CBD employees and One Chase partners.
- Scale the business development function to establish standardized best practices and deliver added value for LOB partners.
Requirements
- At least seven years of business development experience within the HHN space.
- Ability to link business results to behaviors and influence leadership.
- Demonstrates passion, authenticity, boldness, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to craft executive-level summaries.
- Deep knowledge of the Chase ecosystem and experience coaching behaviors.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
