Business Development Manager
Job Description
At Taymor Industries, a growth-focused Business Development Manager is sought to drive pull-through sales in multi-family residential markets across Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. The role is onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, with preference for candidates located near Phoenix, Denver, or Salt Lake City. You will partner with developers and industry partners to expand specifications, align account plans with corporate goals, and contribute to long-term customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multi-family developers and key project influencers.
- Present Taymor’s value proposition and support account planning aligned with corporate goals.
- Drive brand preference by engaging ecosystem partners and attending industry events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deepen customer engagement and ensure long-term retention.
- Identify and pursue multi-family project opportunities using lead sources and market research.
- Manage and convert a robust sales pipeline through all project stages using CRM tools.
- Secure specifications for new and existing products, and drive adoption through consultative selling.
- Track and analyze wins and losses, capture competitor insights, and optimize project conversion strategies.
- Coordinate project timelines to ensure timely orders, inventory planning, and delivery execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to support quality assurance and customer experience.
- Provide product samples, spec crossovers, and support for model suites and leasing centers.
- Facilitate keying system discussions and project setup with partners.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a direct Business-to-Business (B2B) sales role.
- Proven track record in major account selling.
- Located near Phoenix, Denver, or Salt Lake City.
- Willing and able to travel for multi-day trips frequently.
- Understanding of the outside / field sales environment.
- Comprehension of relevant market trends within the territory.
- Using CRM software as a strategic tool.
- Analyzing metrics and KPIs to create new opportunities and beat sales goals.
- Adapting sales techniques depending on varied customer characteristics and sales environment.
