Business Development Manager
Job Description
Tigon Golf Carts is seeking an energetic outside sales professional to expand sales, rentals, service, and the commercial customer base.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective commercial clients to explore new business opportunities
- Generate and qualify new leads to build the sales pipeline
- Follow up with customers promptly and in an organized manner
- Promote golf cart sales, rentals, service, financing, accessories, warranties, and related services
- Visit businesses, communities, campgrounds, event venues, apartment complexes, sports complexes, entertainment centers, and other potential buyers
- Represent the Tigon brand professionally in the field
- Learn product lines, pricing, services, and quoting processes
- Track leads, quotes, notes, and customer activity using company systems
- Coordinate with headquarters for quotes, inventory, pricing, or approvals as needed
- Attend trade shows, demo days, local events, and customer meetings when approved
- Help build long-term commercial relationships for Tigon Golf Carts
- Identify and pursue opportunities at trade shows, demo days, pop-up sales, and local events
- Keep promotional materials and customer-facing information current and professional
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Comfortable with local travel
- Willing to travel overnight when approved or required
- Professional, reliable, and organized
- Clear communicator by phone, text, email, and in person
- Ability to learn Tigon’s products, pricing, and services
- Proficient with computer systems
- Maintain a professional appearance while representing the company
- Background checks, motor vehicle record checks, drug testing, reference checks, or employment verification may be required during hiring

Job Overview
Outside sales professionals are expected to drive growth in sales, rentals, service, and the commercial client base. The role suits individuals who are charismatic, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable engaging with people, with compensation tied to results through commissions. This position may be full-time or part-time with a flexible schedule, and the right candidate will be dependable, proactive, and capable of pursuing leads consistently without constant supervision. The role is primarily field-based, involving time spent visiting prospects, meeting customers, attending events, following up on leads, and creating new business opportunities around a specific store location rather than working full-time inside the office.
Pay
Base pay: $18 per hour. Commission is available based on unit volume and other eligible sales. Unit sales commissions are calculated by calendar year and reset annually.
